In recognition of the importance of encouraging a new generation of school leaders, KASS is honored to announce this opportunity, designed exclusively for Kentucky minority administrators with aspirations of becoming superintendents.
This fellowship is a testament to the legacy of Dr. Caulk, a visionary leader who cared deeply about uplifting minority educators. Dr. Caulk, a unique man possessing a true “servant’s heart,” brought his amazing spirit to the Fayette County Public Schools as Superintendent from 2015 until his passing in December 2020.
The cornerstone of the fellowship is membership in the 2023-24 Kentucky Leadership Rising Aspiring Superintendent Workshop Series, a comprehensive and rigorous initiative spearheaded by KASS, designed to equip participants with the skills, knowledge, and strategic thinking required to lead a school district effectively. Fellows not only join the program but will be deeply connected to a network of seasoned educational leaders committed to guiding and nurturing their growth.
