A six-part Workshop Series for Aspiring Superintendents

In service and support of Kentucky’s future school executive leaders, KASS announces a six-part Workshop Series for Aspiring Superintendents titled, Kentucky Leadership Rising coming in October 2023. Each session will be facilitated by respected former and current Kentucky superintendents with proven records of success, each delivering expertise, perspective, challenges and important lessons learned.

Landing the Job (December)
Online: Communications Leadership (January)
Leader of Leaders: Team, Board, Community, and State (February)
Online: Professional and Personal Readiness (March)
Final session: Ensuring a Successful Year-One (April 2024)

Cost: $1,000.00

Includes:

Six comprehensive professional learning events: four (4) full-day in-person, two (2) two-hour virtual.
Breakfast, lunch, and snacks at each in-person event.
EILA credit (6 hours or 2 hours) for each event, 20 total hours.
Local and state-wide recognition (School Board, media, etc.).
Recognition at KASS Annual Conference.
Display-worthy plaque with Certificate of Program Completion.
