Kentucky Leadership Rising
KY Leadership Rising is designed for early-career superintendents who want to sharpen their leadership skills while building strong peer networks. The program emphasizes practical strategies for district management, advocacy, and instructional leadership. By fostering collaboration and support, it helps rising leaders thrive during their critical first years of service.
KASS Live
KASS Live brings superintendents and education leaders together in real time to tackle pressing challenges and share solutions. Through interactive sessions, panels, and statewide conversations, participants gain timely insights on policy, funding, and leadership. This series keeps leaders informed, connected, and prepared to act on behalf of Kentucky’s students.
Kentucky Leadership Next
Kentucky Leadership Next is a statewide superintendent fellowship launched by KASS in partnership with UK Next Gen. The program is designed to identify and prepare the next wave of district leaders by reaching three key groups: certified leaders not yet serving as superintendents, aspiring principals working toward certification, and underrepresented leaders supported through the Manny Caulk Fellowship.
Through mentorship, professional learning, and a focus on equity, Kentucky Leadership Next provides tailored pathways to strengthen leadership readiness. By cultivating a diverse and prepared pipeline of future superintendents, the program ensures Kentucky’s schools will be led by innovative, inclusive, and student-centered leaders for years to come.
Synergy
Synergy is the signature professional learning community for Kentucky’s superintendents. Centered on collaboration, innovation, and advocacy, it provides a trusted space for leaders to learn from each other and unite around shared goals. Together, superintendents strengthen their leadership while amplifying the collective voice of public education.
Step Up
Step Up focuses on leadership development for assistant superintendents, principals, and district administrators ready to grow into broader leadership roles. Through targeted training and mentorship, participants expand their capacity to influence districtwide improvement. The program cultivates a strong pipeline of leaders committed to Kentucky’s future.
