Empowering Kentucky’s Next Generation of District Leaders

Kentucky Leadership Rising (KLR) is a statewide initiative designed to elevate, equip, and empower the next generation of education leaders. Led by the Kentucky Association of School Superintendents (KASS), this program recognizes that strong leadership begins with strong support.

Through immersive workshops, authentic dialogue, and mentorship from Kentucky’s most experienced superintendents, KLR helps current and aspiring district leaders build the confidence, clarity, and community to lead effectively in today’s evolving education landscape.



You do not have to be superintendent certified to register.

If you’re not yet certified, you’ll have the opportunity to fast-track your certification through the University of Kentucky’s Superintendent Certification Program, offered in partnership with Kentucky Next Gen — and receive $1,000 off tuition.
